Common use of – Tie in Seniority Clause in Contracts

– Tie in Seniority. If two or more employees are hired on the same date, seniority will be determined by application date with seniority going to the member who applies first. An employee’s seniority date will be provided upon request.

If the hire dates of two or more employees are hired on the same date, their placement on the seniority will list shall be determined by the following:  Date first worked, and  If tied, by application date with seniority going to the member who applies firstdate.
