Common use of Tie Scores Clause in Contracts

Tie Scores. In applying seniority under this Agreement, if it is found that two (2) or more employees in the university have equal seniority, preference shall be given in order of greatest length of continuous OUS service. If this method does not break the tie, then the greatest length of continuous service in the university shall be used. If ties between employees still exist, the order of preference shall be determined by the university in such manner as to conserve for the university the services of the most qualified employee.
