Time Limit on Disciplinary Action. Discipline, not resulting from a vehicle accident, shall be issued no later than thirty-five (35) calendar days from the time of the event or from the time the Employer became aware of the occurrence giving rise to the discipline. Discipline resulting from a vehicle accident shall be issued no later than twenty-one (21) calendar days from the time the Accident Review Board makes its determination. The employer may extend the timeframe by providing notice to the Union due to extenuating circumstances.
