TIME LIMIT ON RAISING A PERSONAL GRIEVANCE. An employee who believes that he/she has a personal grievance must raise it with the employer within the period of 90 days beginning with the date on which the action alleged to amount to a personal grievance occurred or came to the notice of the employee. If the problem is not resolved, a party to the problem may seek the assistance of the Mediation Services provided by the Department of Labour. This may be done by contacting an office of the Department of Labour that deals with employment relation issues.
