Time of Suspension. Suspension without pay shall take effect upon receipt by the employee of the written notice of suspension or shall take effect as otherwise indicated in the written notice. The suspension shall continue in effect for the time period provided in the written notice of suspension without pay. The maximum suspension without pay shall not exceed the length of one school year.
