Time Provided to Handle Grievances. Stewards or members of the Area Workmen’s Committees may leave their jobs without loss of pay for the purpose of assisting in the handling of grievances in their area upon approval of their supervisor. It is further agreed that the supervisor shall not withhold permission where working conditions permit and that only those stewards or members of the Workmen's Committee with direct involvement shall participate.

  • Processing Grievances The grievant shall be granted reasonable time off with pay from regularly scheduled duty hours to process a grievance, provided that the time off will be devoted to the prompt and efficient investigation and handling of grievances, subject to the following:
