Common use of Times of Work and Leave Clause in Contracts

Times of Work and Leave. The Priest’s work includes not only activities directed to the parish and its wellbeing, but also labors on behalf of the Diocese and community. The Priest’s scheduled work week is ten (10) to twelve (12) blocks, where a block is defined as morning, afternoon or evening, and where the norm is that under normal circumstances The Priest will work no more than two blocks per day. This shall include Sunday activities. The Priest is expected to preserve at least one continuous twenty-four hour period each week for personal and family use. The Priest will have the following periods or leave at full compensation: National holidays, at the discretion of the Priest, to be taken so as not to interfere with worship for major occasions.
