Scheduled Workweek. A regular employee instructed to report for a basic workweek of forty hours and who reports as instructed shall not have his hours of work reduced in such week except due to an Act of God such as fire, flood, etc. or due to a labor dispute or any other activity beyond the control of the Employer which interferes with the normal operations of the market.

Scheduled Workweek. ‌ The established workweek is Sunday through Saturday except for third shift Employees whose normal workweek ends after their shift on Sunday morning.

It is agreed that the Head Meat Cutters and Journeymen shall be given preference over apprentices for work on the sixth (6th) full or half day during a regular workweek and on the fifth (5th) full or half day during a holiday week. At the Employ­ ers discretion overtime at overtime rates may be worked after eight (8) hours in any one day and behind locked doors after 6:00 p.m. Se c t io n 4.5— Inventory. Employees shall not take inventory outside of regular work­ ing hours.

  • Scheduled Days Off Except in cases of emergency, no employee will be required to return to his/her place of employment on his/her scheduled day off.

  • Workday/Workweek A. The normal workweek for each full-time employee shall be forty (40) hours.

  • Workweek A regularly re-occurring period of one hundred and sixty-eight (168) hours consisting of seven (7) consecutive twenty-four (24) hour periods. Workweeks will normally begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 12:00 midnight the following Saturday or as otherwise designated by the appointing authority.   • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.

  • Scheduled Overtime Scheduled overtime is overtime which is assigned by the end of the employee's last worked shift prior to the overtime assignment and which does not immediately precede or immediately follow a scheduled work shift. Unless notified otherwise in advance of the scheduled starting time of the scheduled overtime assignment, any employee who is scheduled to report for work and who reports as scheduled shall be assigned at least two (2) hours work. If work is not available, the employee may be excused from duty and paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate. If the employee begins work but is excused from duty before completing two (2) hours of work, the employee shall be paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate.

  • REGULAR WORK YEAR 1. The annual salary established for employees covered by this Collective Agreement shall be payable in respect of the employees’ regular work year. The regular work year shall be the regular school year as established by the Board and shall not exceed one hundred and ninety-five (195) days in session per school year.

  • Scheduled Holidays Holidays for certain employees, typically 24/7 facilities, are pre-scheduled on days other than the holidays mentioned in Section 1. This schedule is determined in advance. If employees who have their holiday pre-scheduled are required to work on that pre-scheduled holiday day, they are compensated as follows:

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling on Scheduled Days Off 1. When a holiday falls on a full-time employee's regularly scheduled day off, the employee shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time.
