Common use of Times of Work and Leave Clause in Contracts

Times of Work and Leave. The Assistant’s scheduled work week is ten (10) to twelve (12) blocks, where a block is defined as morning, afternoon or evening, and under normal circumstances the Assistant will work no more than two blocks per day. In general, no more than three evenings per week are expected. The Assistant is expected to preserve at least one continuous twenty-four hour period each week solely for personal and family use. The Assistant will have the following periods of leave at full compensation: National Holidays, to be taken so as not to interfere with worship for major occasions.
