Based on the Company's needs and assessments, the Committee will recommend to the Company, the number of Trades Apprentices in each trade that will start the program. Apprentices will be registered with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities immediately upon successful completion of the 3-month probationary period. Successful completion of probationary period will be based on performance evaluation of the following items: - Tool & equipment recognition - Willingness to work overtime - Practical skills CANDIDATES Applications will be received from employees internally throughout the operation or externally if no applications are received or if internal candidate(s) do not meet the required criteria. An Apprenticeship posting will be considered as advancement therefore a promotion. Apprenticeship openings will also be filled in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs I, III and VIII of Article 12.05 only.
