Training and Assessment Services for Construction (TASC. 3.3. CITB-ConstructionSkills Northern Ireland direct training facility, Training and Assessment Services for Construction (TASC), offers specialist expertise and facilities at Nutts Corner Training Centre. Courses offered by TASC include Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) supervisory and management training, short business management courses, demolition, scaffolding, and health and safety training for undergraduates. These courses are generally only provided where training is not available elsewhere within Northern Ireland or where a monopoly situation exists. In addition, CITB NI has a Mobile Training Unit which brings a range of short courses, including health and safety, direct to construction sites. This is a tried and tested method of training and developing experienced workers without taking them away from daily responsibilities on site.
