Common use of Training and Development Clause in Contracts

Training and Development. 10.7.1 Employees will undertake training as required by the Employer to ensure they have the skills and competencies needed to perform all of the tasks required. In particular, employees are expected to complete the Peri Peri Uni online training curriculum within three months of the commencement of employment and, thereafter, undertake refresher training each twelve months. 10.7.2 The Employer will meet the costs of training that it directs employees to undertake. 10.7.3 Employees are required to teach work skills and procedures to other employees, as and when required by the Employer. 10.7.4 From time to time, the Employer may conduct employee briefings for the mutual benefit of the Employer and its employees. Employees are expected to attend such briefings, unless they have reasonable grounds for not doing so.
