Training and Staff Development. If requested by either the Association or the Board, the Association and the Board shall jointly plan and sponsor a workshop or in-service dealing with special education issues. In addition, given the complexity and constantly shifting nature of the issues surrounding the education of children with special needs, the administration will assure that on no less than two (2) occasions per year, opportunities will be embedded into professional development time to facilitate collaborative time for special education staff.
