Common use of Training Benefits Clause in Contracts

Training Benefits. Where new or greater skills are required by an employee to carry out their work in the district as a result of technological change than are already possessed by the employee, such employees shall at the expense of the Board be given a period of time not to exceed ninety (90) days in which they may perfect or acquire the skills necessitated by the new method of operation. There shall be no reduction in wage or salary rate during the training period of any such employee and no reduction in pay upon being reclassified in the new position.
