Training for Joint Committee Members. Subject to reasonable notice being given, all committee members shall be entitled to up to five (5) days’ leave without pay, per year, for purposes of attending Occupational Health and Safety training courses, seminars or courses of instruction however, where such training is provided by the Department of Labour, or jointly by the Union and Employer, employees exercising such leave shall have the time considered time worked and will be paid at straight time.
