Transfer Rights and Responsibilities. 3. Only courses with a grade of D or higher will be accepted for transfer to NSC. However, only courses with a grade of C- or higher (equivalent to 1.7 grade points for each credit earned) can carry credit towards major requirements. A course completed with a grade of less than C-, if counted toward graduation at the community college, may be used to satisfy NSC graduation requirements. However, the course will have to be repeated if the NSC major specifies a higher grade for all students. If a CSN course has more credits than the NSC equivalent course, the additional credits will be included in the program total as general transfer credit. NSC requires that a minimum of 60 credits must be completed at the four-year institution. Additionally, a minimum of 32 upper division credit hours must be completed in residence at Nevada State College.
