Common use of Transitional Period Clause in Contracts

Transitional Period. 1. Notwithstanding the provisions on national treatment set out in Article 6.4, GCC Member States may grant, for a transitional period not exceeding ten years from the date of entry into force of this Agreement, a price preference programme in favour of their domestic goods and services. 2. A price preference granted under this article shall not exceed 10% of the value of the goods and services produced domestically.
