Travel Advance. Upon request of the employee, the State shall advance a sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00) to each bargaining unit employee who regularly and recurringly accrues travel expenses on an average of seventy- five dollars ($75.00) a month for which reimbursement is claimed. Each employee who wishes to accept said advance shall execute a promissory note which shall make the monies advanced deductible from the employees last paycheck as a State employee within the unit (effective date July 1, 1986). (1) The first salary payment following ninety (90) days from agency notification to the employee, (2) Where said employee has appealed the agency decision regarding qualification, the first paycheck following the end of the appeal process.
