TRAVEL AND SUBSISTENCE PAYMENT. Travel and subsistence payments will be managed in accordance with the University’s policies, procedures and guidelines as amended from time to time. The University pays actual travel expenses if they are reasonable and necessarily incurred while undertaking approved official travel. Reimbursement of travel expenses should be on a cost recovery basis. Where a staff member is required to travel outside of the normal span of hours, the relevant work unit will make an arrangement for consideration of the time necessarily spent travelling.

TRAVEL AND SUBSISTENCE PAYMENT. The Contractor’s attention is directed to Section 1773.8 of the Labor Code, which requires the payment of travel and subsistence payments to each worker needed to execute the work, as those payments are defined in collective bargaining agreements filed with the Department of Industrial Relations.
