Travel Between Buildings. a. Employees required in the course of their work and having prior administrative authorization to drive personal automobiles from one (1) school building to another shall be reimbursed as provided below. The same reimbursement shall be given for use of personal cars for field trips or other business of the District with prior approval of administration. b. Employees who travel between buildings will receive a minimum of twenty (20) minutes between teaching assignments when travel time is involved. Additional time or other accommodation will be provided in individual situations if required by the length of time necessary to travel, park and walk to the classroom.
