Common use of Treatment of Casual Employees Clause in Contracts

Treatment of Casual Employees. For the purpose of this clause, a "casual employee" is an employee who receives a casual loading. Where a part time or full time employee has continuous service with the Company as a casual employee prior to commencing their part time or full time employment; such service will be treated as part time or full time service for the purpose of sub-clause 7(b) of this Agreement. A part time or full time employee who has continuous service with the Company as a casual employee prior to commencing their part time or full time employment will not have that service taken into account for the purpose of calculating entitlements pursuant to sub-clause 7(c) of this Agreement.
