SUNDAY WORK AND PUBLIC HOLIDAY RATES. 11.7.1 Work on a Sunday When work is performed on a Sunday, double ordinary rates shall be paid. This clause shall not apply to work performed on a Sunday in accordance with Clause 11.4 (Shift work on Sundays and Public Holidays) or Clause 11.7.2 (Work on a Public Holiday). By agreement between the employer and the majority of the employees concerned, the ordinary hours of a night shift may be worked to commence on Sunday evening without payment of Sunday penalty rates. Employees required to work on a Sunday or public holidays shall be paid for a minimum of three hours work.   • Public Holiday Work (a) For Employees other than Shiftworkers, double time and a half must be paid for any Public Holiday Work with a minimum payment of four hours.

  • Annual Leave Exclusive of Public Holidays The period of annual leave prescribed by this clause is exclusive of any public holidays, and if any such holiday falls within an employee’s period of annual leave and is observed on a day which in the case of that employee would have been an ordinary working day, there will be added to the period of annual leave time equivalent to the ordinary time which the employee would have worked if such day had not been a holiday.

  • Holiday Rules The following rules apply to all holidays except the personal holiday:

  • Public Holidays 11.1 The following days are public holidays: New Year's Day, Australia Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Anzac Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, and any other gazetted public holidays in the relevant state or territory in which the work is being performed, other than:

  • Saturday Work A day worker required to work overtime on a Saturday shall be afforded at least four hours work or paid for four hours at the rate of time and one half for the first three hours and double time thereafter, except where the overtime is continuous with overtime commenced on the previous day.

  • Saturday and Sunday Work (a) Where an employee is rostered to work ordinary hours between midnight Friday and midnight Saturday, the employee will be paid a loading of 50% of their ordinary rate of pay for the hours worked during this period.

  • GENERAL HOLIDAYS 13.01 The following days shall be recognized and considered as paid general holidays: New Year's Day Labour Day Xxxxx Xxxx Day Thanksgiving Day Good Friday Remembrance Day Victoria Day Christmas Day Canada Day Boxing Day Xxxxx Xxx Day and any other day or portion of a day designated as a paid holiday by the Civic, Provincial or Federal Government.

  • Public Holiday 6.1 The Worker shall be entitled to public holidays in accordance with the labour laws in Malaysia.

  • Sunday Work Employees required to work overtime on Sundays shall be paid for a minimum of three hours work at double time. The double time is to be paid until the employee is relieved from duty.
