Types of Exempt Positions. A. Regular or “Continuing” Exempt Positions Regular or “continuing” exempt positions are positions that are established and funded on a continuing twelve-month period at either a full-time or a part-time level by the College. The College shall determine if an appointment to a regular exempt position is made through an external competitive process, or an internal-only competitive process.
