Sick Leave Reimbursement into VEBA. Contingent on a notification to the Employer by the Federation to authorize continuation of the VEBA program, employees covered by this Agreement shall have all funds generated by sick leave buyout at retirement contributed to a Voluntary Employee's Beneficiary Association (VEBA). The Federation may give notice to the Employer at any time that they wish to cancel participation in the VEBA program for the next plan year consistent with the program's guidelines and IRS rules.

  • Sick Leave Reimbursement An employee who has received sick leave benefits for injuries caused by a third party shall be obliged, in the event such employee undertakes an action for recovery of damages against the third party, to seek recovery of the total cost of wages and benefits paid to the employee while on sick leave. The employee shall be obliged to reimburse the Employer to the extent the employee succeeded in recovering such wages and benefits. This provision includes claims made to ICBC.

  • Vacation and Sick Leave Administration (a) for the purposes of administration of clauses 34.11 and 34.12, where an employee does not work the same number of hours each week, the normal workweek shall be the weekly average calculated on a monthly basis.

Annual sick leave is the sick leave days credited each year to each employee in accordance with the provisions of the local collective bargaining agreements. Banked sick leave is previously accumulated unused sick leave to which unused annual sick leave may be added at the end of each anniversary year.

  • Accrued 100% sick leave The use of sick leave under this subsection is at the employee's discretion.
