Unbundled Subloop Distribution. 2.8.2.1 The USLD facility isa dedicated transmissionfacility that AT&Tprovides from a customer’s point of demarcation to a AT&T cross-connect device. The AT&T cross-connect device may be located within a remote terminal (RT) or a stand-alone cross-box in the field or in the equipment room of a building. The USLD media is a copper twisted pair that can be provisioned as a 2-wire or 4-wire facility. AT&Twill make available the followinsgubloop distribuiton offerings wheer facilities exist: USLD – Voice Grade (USLD-VG) Unbundled Copper Subloop (UCSL) USLD – Intrabuilding Network Cable (USLD-INC (aka riser cable)) 2.8.2.2 USLD-VG is a copper subloop facilitfyrom the cross-box in the fiedlup to and including the point of demarcation at the customer’s premises and may have load coils. 2.8.2.3 UCSL is a copper facilityeighteen thousand (18,000) feet or lesins length provided from the cross- box in the field up to and includinghte customer’s point of demarcationI.f available, this facility will not have any intervening equipment such as load coils between the customer and the cross-box. 2.8.2.3.1 If AIN/Birch requests a UCSL and it is not available, AIN/Birchmay request the copper Subloop facility bemodiefid pursuant to the ULM process to remvoe load coils and/orexcessive bridged taps. If load coils and/or excesvsei bridged taps are removedh, te facility will beclassified as a UCSL. 2.8.2.4 USLD-INC is the distribution facility ownedor controlled by AT&T inside a building or between buildings on the same property that is not separated by a public street or road.
