UNIFORM AND EQUIPMENT ISSUE. The County shall promulgate work rules and a personnel code governing the use of the following issue to be supplied at County’s expense:
UNIFORM AND EQUIPMENT ISSUE. As soon as practical after an offi- cer is hired, the officer will be issued uniforms and equipment in accordance with the department’s published “Initial Issue of Uniforms and Equipment” list, which will include a full complement of both winter and summer uniform items. Thereafter department will provide approved uniform items as needed. The department may require “used” items to be returned when issuing replacement uniform and equipment. The department will consider suggestions from officers regarding the selection of authorized items. The department will require employ- ees to return used and/or damaged items prior to issuing replacements. The depart- ment may require an employee to return all equipment upon termination of em- ployment with the department. The department may limit replacements based on business needs and/or employee misuse. Misuse resulting in damage of University property may lead to discipline, up to and including termination of employment.

  • Protective Clothing and Equipment The Employer recognizes the safety concerns of all staff and shall provide all employees whose work requires them to wear protective equipment with the necessary equipment and protective clothing. This committee may make recommendations on such equipment (e.g., gloves, long sleeved gowns, masks, goggles). These shall be maintained and replaced, where necessary, at the Employer's expense. Where the committee recommends the wearing of such protective clothing and equipment, and the Employer implements such recommendation, employees are obligated to comply with such recommendation(s).

  • Use of Facilities and Equipment The Association will be allowed to use school facilities for meetings upon request to and approval of the Superintendent. The Association will be allowed to use school equipment, including typewriters, computers, mimeograph machines, other duplicating equipment, calculating machines, and all types of audio-visual equipment when such equipment is not otherwise in use. The Association shall pay the cost of all materials and supplies incidental to such use and shall be responsible for proper operation of all such equipment.

  • Access to Work Locations Reasonable access to employee work locations shall be granted officers of the Association and their officially designated representatives for the purpose of processing grievances or contacting members of the Association concerning business within the scope of representation. Such officers or representatives shall not enter any work location without the consent of the City Manager. Access shall be restricted so as not to interfere with the normal operations of the department or with established safety or security requirements. Solicitation of membership and activities concerned with the internal management of the Association, such as collecting dues, holding membership meetings, campaigning for office, conducting elections and distributing literature, shall not be conducted during working hours.
