Common use of Uniform Cleaning Clause in Contracts

Uniform Cleaning. Uniform cleaning will be provided by the City in a manner such that employees shall have sufficiently clean uniform clothing to wear, normally one uniform per work week. It is the responsibility of the employee to submit uniforms for cleaning as necessary, and to maintain footwear, duty belts and associated equipment, and weapons in a safe and professional manner in accordance with department standards. Employees are expected to display a clean, neat, and professional appearance. This Section applies only to City- issued uniforms or approved clothing for plain clothes officers referenced in 15.3.
