Uniform Maintenance Allowance. All employees shall receive a $500 uniform maintenance allowance payable each January. However, if an employee retires, resigns or terminates employment or is on leave of absence for any reason, the uniform maintenance allowance shall be prorated for those months during the calendar year that he or she was employed and a final adjustment shall be made in the employee's last paycheck.
