UNIFORMS AND MILEAGE. 19.01 The employer shall provide a two hundred seventy dollars ($270) a year uniform allowance for each employee. Employees will be allowed to use this allowance to purchase work shoes, inclement weather gear, Bobcat shirts/sweatshirts or any other clothing that is necessary for employees to perform their duties safely; undergarments are exempt from allowable items. When a uniform allowance is issued to an employee who does not stay in the employment of the school district for one (1) year, the cost of the uniform shall be deducted from the employee’s paycheck. Substitute facilities workers shall be provided one district work shirt.
