Common use of Union Functions - Leave of Absence Clause in Contracts

Union Functions - Leave of Absence. When an employee attends union functions such as conferences, conventions, schools, seminars, etc., the Employer agrees to pay the employees involved for all wages and benefits the employee would have received had he or she been at work, and the Union agrees to reimburse the Employer upon receipt of billing. Such leave shall be restricted to one (1) employee at a time.
