Common use of Union Grievances Clause in Contracts

Union Grievances. filed by an employee(s) or the Union shall be initiated in writing at Step 1 of this procedure within five (5) work days after the employee(s) or Union knew or should have known of the condition causing the grievance to be filed. For purposes of the grievance procedure, work days are considered to be Monday through Friday.
