United Way agrees to. A. Distribute funding to Agency in the total amount as stated in the Award Letter attached hereto and incorporated herein for the Term of this Agreement. B. Distribute funding on a monthly basis unless other specific conditions have been attached to this agreement or identified and agreed upon by Agency and United Way. C. UWLC does not assume any responsibility for operating deficits with funded agency or programs. United Way recommends agencies have a written Operating Reserve Policy. D. UWLC recognizes the right of Agency’s Board to determine its own policies and manage its program provided they do not conflict with this Agreement.
United Way agrees to. Organize, direct and conduct an aggressive and cost effective annual United Way campaign which reaches all segments of the community and maximizes unrestricted giving and commitment to the voluntary system to support local health and human services, programs, collaborations or other special initiatives designed to address community needs. Allocate and distribute campaign proceeds through a system that: (a) utilizes citizen volunteers to assess community needs and the Agency’s capacity to effectively deliver services; (b) distributes Community Wide Impact Funds for identified community needs; (c) encourages opportunities for collaboration and cooperation among service providers; and (d) honors donor-restricted contributions. Manage the Donor Choice Program while promoting outright giving for the community’s human care system. Promote voluntarism and the importance of the system of voluntary not-for-profit services to enhance the quality of life in our community.

Provide prompt consideration and response to any request from a Funded Partner; g. Notify Funded Partner of any significant changes and/or events concerning or initiated by United Way that may affect the relationship described in this Agreement. h. Maintain a responsible board of directors which shall meet a least 6 times annually; i. Cooperate with other agencies and organizations in promoting effective services, efficiency, and economy j.   • Enterprise Information Management Standards Grantee shall conform to HHS standards for data management as described by the policies of the HHS Office of Data, Analytics, and Performance. These include, but are not limited to, standards for documentation and communication of data models, metadata, and other data definition methods that are required by HHS for ongoing data governance, strategic portfolio analysis, interoperability planning, and valuation of HHS System data assets.

  • Settlement Administration 5.1. The Settlement Administrator shall, under the supervision of the Court, administer the relief provided by this Settlement Agreement by processing Claim Forms in a rational, responsive, cost effective, and timely manner. The Settlement Administrator shall maintain reasonably detailed records of its activities under this Settlement Agreement. The Settlement Administrator shall maintain all such records as are required by applicable law in accordance with its normal business practices and such records will be made available to Class Counsel and Defendant’s Counsel upon request. The Settlement Administrator shall also provide reports and other information to the Court as the Court may require. The Settlement Administrator shall provide Class Counsel and Defendant’s Counsel with information concerning Notice, administration, and implementation of the Settlement Agreement. Should the Court request, the Parties, in conjunction with the Settlement Administrator, shall submit a timely report to the Court summarizing the work performed by the Settlement Administrator, including a report of all amounts from the State-Specific Settlement Funds paid on account of Approved Claims. Without limiting the foregoing, the Settlement Administrator shall: (a) receive exclusion forms and other requests from Settlement Class Members and promptly provide a copy of such requests to Class Counsel and Defendant’s Counsel upon receipt. If the Settlement Administrator receives any exclusion forms or other requests from the Settlement Class after the Objection/Exclusion Deadline, the Settlement Administrator shall promptly provide copies thereof to Class Counsel and Defendant’s Counsel; (b) provide weekly reports to Class Counsel and Defendant’s Counsel, including, without limitation, reports regarding the number of Claim Forms received, the current number approved by the Settlement Administrator at that time from each of the Settlement Classes, and the number of opt-outs received; (c) make available for inspection by Class Counsel or Defendant’s Counsel the Claim Forms, any documentation submitted in support thereof, and any correspondence received by the Settlement Administrator at any time upon reasonable notice; (d) pay all Approved Claims according to the terms of this Settlement Agreement; (e) make all tax filings related to the Escrow Accounts, including making any required “information returns” as that term is used in 26 U.S.C. § 1, et seq. Neither Class Counsel nor Defendant makes any representations regarding the tax treatment of the Escrow Account, State-Specific Settlement Funds or any portion thereof; and (f) respond to questions about the Settlement from Settlement Class Members. 5.2. The Settlement Administrator shall employ reasonable procedures to screen claims for abuse or fraud. The Settlement Administrator, after consultation with Class Counsel, shall reject Claim Forms where there is evidence of abuse or fraud. 5.3. The Settlement Administrator shall reject any Claim Form that does not contain all requested information. The Settlement Administrator shall provide the individual with an opportunity to cure any deficient Claim Form within twenty-one (21) days after notice to such individual. If the individual fails to cure within the required time, the claim shall be rejected. 5.4. In the exercise of their duties outlined in this Agreement, the Settlement Administrator shall have the right to reasonably request additional information from the Parties or any Settlement Class Member.

  • Bus Drivers A. The Board agrees to pay bus drivers their regular rate per hour for driving in excess of four (4) hours per day on their regular route. The Board agrees to pay bus drivers their regular rate while transporting students on another regular route during an emergency situation. B. The Board agrees to pay bus drivers $15.00 per hour for field trips. Field trips will be paid from the point where students are picked up to the point students are returned or the point when the driver returns to the pick-up location. C. The terms "field trips," "special trips," and "extra trips" shall henceforth be known as field trips. All non-walking field trips which are sponsored by the District, have been approved by the Superintendent, and are accompanied by an advisor/teacher shall be offered to regular drivers before they are offered to substitutes. Dropped trips or trips that arise within twenty-four (24) hours of the scheduled departure time can be filled with the first available driver. D. Each bus driver shall be paid for all time that is spent on their bus including deadhead, breakdown, maintenance time, layover time, and random drug and alcohol testing. E. All drivers may take their regularly assigned bus on short trips, however, longer trips shall be assigned at the discretion of the Transportation Department. F. The Board agrees to pay the cost up to thirty-five dollars ($35.00) for costs incurred to any bus driver for physical, eye tests, or abstracts. G. At the beginning of each new school year, field trips shall be offered on a rotating basis from a driver rotation list, beginning with the most senior driver on the list. A bus driver who cancels a trip (non-emergency cancellation as determined by the supervisor) with less than forty-eight (48) hours notice shall miss their turn on the next two trip rotations. Drivers may elect to remove themselves from consideration for extra trips. If removed, drivers will remain so for the designated period of time that trips are bid or they may elect to remove themselves for the entire school year. H. The Board agrees to supply each bus with a broom and window cleaner, for the proper inside and outside cleaning of the bus. I. Mid-day preschool routes shall be offered, bid, and paid as part of drivers’ regular routes. J. All bus routes shall be bid with the most senior driver appointed, providing it is not excessive cost to the Board. K. If a driver takes a field trip he/she will only be deducted the actual morning or evening time from regular route. L. Nine (9) or more students shall be considered a field trip to be transported in a van, mini bus or regular bus, excluding trips by the multiple impaired students, History Day, Science Olympiad, Mock Trial, Vision Unit, commercial buses sponsored by a non- Board entity for football state playoffs, and all other regional and State sports events. M. The Board shall make available to all bus drivers a copy of the State Manual to assist drivers in passing the required written examination. N. The Board shall provide inservice education for all regular drivers employed the effective date of this Agreement to assist drivers in passing the required written examination. O. All bus drivers shall be required to meet all licensing requirements of the State of Ohio to be employed or to remain in the employment of the District. P. All bus drivers shall pass any drug testing requirements established by the Ohio Department of Education, Ohio State Laws, and/or Federal Law governing the commercial licensing of all bus drivers. The cost of said required testing shall be borne by the Board. Q. The Board shall reimburse up to $44.75, once every (4) years, the cost of renewal of the Commercial Driver's License fee, upon submission of a fee receipt. R. The drivers who were grandfathered to drive their buses to and from home on their current routes as of 2001-2002 will remain grandfathered as long as they are drivers for the District, and remain on the same routes. All new drivers shall be subject to the approval of the Transportation Supervisor and Superintendent on taking buses home. (See paragraph J.) In the event a bus driver authorized to take his/her bus home, including the grandfathered drivers, moves from his/her present residence, the Transportation Supervisor and Superintendent shall determine whether the driver will be permitted to continue to drive his/her bus home. (See paragraph J.) S. Bus drivers who are required to plug bus heaters in at their residences shall be paid $1.50 per plug-in. T. The Board will pay for the cost of mandatory training to meet certification requirements.
