Unpaid Leaves of More Than Ten Days. 1. An unpaid leave of absence for more than ten (10) days may be granted at the discretion of the School Board, upon affirmative recommendation of the Superintendent, provided that a qualified replacement is available. Except under compelling circumstances, such leave shall not be granted to probationary employees.
