Common use of Use of Accrued Personal Leave Clause in Contracts

Use of Accrued Personal Leave. 7.1 Subject to clause 7.2, the periods of notice under clauses 5.2 and 5.3 will be extended by any periods of approved personal leave taken during such periods supported by documentary evidence in the form of a medical certificate issued by a registered health practitioner. 7.2 For the purposes of an employee entitled to income maintenance under clause 6.3, the total extension permitted under clause 7.1 is capped at six months.
