Common use of Use of Sick Leave Credits Clause in Contracts

Use of Sick Leave Credits. An employee may draw from the employee’s sick leave credits in conjunction with the short-term disability payments to equal, but not exceed, the employee’s regular daily rate of pay. When the insurance company makes payment, the Employer shall be made whole for that portion of sick leave covered by insurance. An employee may not use vacation leave or personal leave credits to supplement short-term disability.
