Sick Leave Credit. All employees shall be able to draw on a block of four point five (4.5) days' sick leave when they commence employment. If all or part of this block of sick leave is used it will be paid back as sick leave is accumulated. If an employee ceases employment and has a negative balance in sick leave credit, this amount will be deducted from his/her final paycheque.

Sick Leave Credit. When special time off, as noted in 9.1 and 9.3 occurs while eligible employees are on sick leave credit, their pay will not be charged against sick leave credits and they will receive 100% payment at their base rate for normal scheduled hours.

Sick Leave Credit. Xxxx leave shall be credited as follows: (a) Four (4) days of sick leave at the end of the first (1st) month of employment of each contract year and thereafter. (b) One (1) day of sick leave for each month of employment which shall be credited to the employee at the end of the month and which shall not be used prior to the time it is earned and credited to the employee.
