Common use of Use of Vacation Accrued Clause in Contracts

Use of Vacation Accrued. All vacations will be scheduled with supervisor approval, upon the request of the employee and considering seniority. Vacations accrual must be used no later than September 1 following the year in which it was earned. Any exceptions to this requirement must be made in writing and approved by the appropriate Administrator. In the event the employee is not allowed to take accrued vacation due to district convenience, the employee shall be paid for any accrued vacation on September 1 of the year following the entitlement.
