Vacation Purchase. The Board may provide for any Employee that earns less than 3 weeks vacation to buy additional weeks vacation up to a maximum of 3 weeks.
Vacation Purchase. The Police Department may offer to purchase xxxx- tion periods from employees in the classes of Police Officer and Detective who are scheduled for xxxx- tion. The Police Commissioner shall determine the number of tours to be purchased and the time peri- od covered. Employees shall receive full pay for the vacation period purchased and shall have their bank of vacation leave reduced accordingly. An employee whose vacation period has been purchased shall work during the period purchased. No other employee shall be permitted to utilize the vacation slot vacated by the employee whose vacation has been repurchased by the Department.
