Common use of Vacation Requests Clause in Contracts

Vacation Requests. All requests for vacation may be submitted by April 15. Vacation selection shall be governed by seniority in each classification provided that the employee has submitted the vacation request by April 15. Subject to the above, vacation requests submitted after April 15 will be granted on a first come first served basis. Subject to the above, each employee will be allowed two (2) weeks vacation during the summer vacation period which is defined as May 15 to September 30.
