Vacation Time Subject to Needs of the District. Whenever possible, the employee's vacation time preference will be granted by the District. However, the needs of the District may require the District to adjust scheduled vacation or deny individual vacation requests at its discretion. The District represents that it will not require cancellation or rescheduling of pre-approved and pre-scheduled vacation leave except in catastrophic circumstances when other qualified personnel are not available.
