Visas and Immigration. 12.1 If you require a visa to study in the UK it is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct visa permission and that you comply with all of the terms of your visa.

Visas and Immigration. For all students: It is your responsibility to ensure you have the necessary visa and consent for the country you are visiting. If you are a Tier 4 student: It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with the conditions of your visa at all times. It your responsibility to ensure that you meet the immigration requirements for the country you plan to work in, and to ensure you have made the necessary arrangements in good time to apply for a visa. You are advised to check information provided by the host country to find out if they require a visa to go there. Information for the visa can be obtained from the relevant embassy or consulate. As your Tier 4 Sponsor, UWL has a number of monitoring, reporting and record keeping duties as part of its Sponsor Licence. Your Tier 4 entry clearance or leave to remain has been granted subject to UK Visas and Immigration regulations. By participating in the traineeship, you agree to meet your visa responsibilities even if you are outside the UK. You must inform the host organisation and UWL of any significant changes to your circumstances immediately, such as a change of address etc.

In the event you do not commence the course on your given start date or should you leave your course early, ULC will pass your details on to the UK Visas and Immigration Department (UKVI). In these cases, your immigration permission could be affected. If you are already in the UK with Short Term Study visa or Dependant visa, you must have full Immigration permission to cover the length of the course at the ULC. You are expected to apply for a Tier 4 visa at the end of the Short Term Study Visa period should you wish to continue to study at the ULC.
Visas and Immigration. If you are a student who requires a visa to study in the UK you have a legal obligation to adhere to any visa conditions set by UK Visas and Immigration. This is your responsibility and in order to enrol you will require to evidence that you have valid immigration status.
