Voluntary Shift Exchange. When operational requirements permit, employees may exchange shifts among themselves provided that: A) prior approval of exchange is given by the employee’s Resident Services Manager or designate. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld; and B) an employee moving to the exchanged shift is entitled to all benefits of this Collective Agreement which would normally be afforded to an employee working that shift. The Employer shall not incur any additional costs over and above those expenses which would have resulted had the exchange not taken place, and C) Regular employees may exchange shifts with casual employees with scheduled shifts; and D) Wherever possible, employees will give forty-eight (48) hours notice of shift exchange to the Resident Services Manager or designate.
