Volunteer A person who performs a service willingly and without pay.
Volunteers The use of volunteers to perform bargaining unit work, as covered by this agreement, shall not be expanded beyond the extent of existing practice as of June 1, 1986. The Hospital shall submit to the Union, at three (3) month intervals, the number of volunteers for the current month and the number of hours worked and the duties performed.
Volunteer Leave Subject to operational requirements as determined by the Employer and with an advance notice of at least five (5) working days, the employee shall be granted, in each fiscal year, a single period of up to seven decimal five (7.5) hours’ of leave with pay to work as a volunteer for a charitable or community organization or activity, other than for activities related to the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign. The leave will be scheduled at a time convenient both to the employee and the Employer. Nevertheless, the Employer shall make every reasonable effort to grant the leave at such a time as the employee may request.
Volunteer Peer Assistants 1. Up to eight (8)
Volunteer Firefighting Leave Leave without pay will be granted when an employee who is a volunteer firefighter is called to duty to respond to a fire, natural disaster or medical emergency.
Transfers to Affiliates Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 7.1, a Partner may, without the consent of the other Partner, Transfer all or a portion of its Interest to an Affiliate of such Partner, so long as such Affiliate is admitted to the Partnership as a Partner pursuant to Section 7.3, and provided further that such Affiliate is not a Benefit Plan Investor.
Use of Volunteers The School covenants and represents that all volunteers it allows access to its students or the Facility will comply with state regulations regarding the use of volunteers set out in Section 6.50.18
Non-Medical, Personalized Services The Practice shall also provide Members with the following non-medical services:
RELATIONSHIP WITH DIRECTORS Directors, officers and employees of the Advisor or an Affiliate of the Advisor may serve as Directors, officers or employees of the Company, except that no director, officer or employee of the Advisor or its Affiliates who also is a Director shall receive any compensation from the Company for serving as a Director other than reasonable reimbursement for travel and related expenses incurred in attending meetings of the Board.
Information Concerning the Fund and SubAdviser From time to time as the Adviser or the Fund may request, the SubAdviser will furnish the requesting party information and reports on portfolio transactions and reports on Fund assets held in the portfolio, all in such detail, form and frequency as the Adviser or the Fund may reasonably request. The SubAdviser will also provide the Adviser with notice and analysis of events that may affect or relate to the valuation of the Fund’s portfolio.
