Warning Banners All systems providing access to PHI COUNTY discloses to 9 CONTRACTOR or CONTRACTOR creates, receives, maintains, or transmits on behalf of COUNTY 10 must display a warning banner stating that data is confidential, systems are logged, and system use is for 11 business purposes only by authorized users. User must be directed to log off the system if they do not 12 agree with these requirements.
Markings If permitted by applicable Law, on or reasonably promptly after the Closing Date, Owner will cause to be affixed to, and maintained in, the cockpit of the Airframe and on each Engine, in each case, in a clearly visible location, a placard of a reasonable size and shape bearing the legend: “Subject to a security interest in favor of Wilmington Trust, National Association, not in its individual capacity but solely as Mortgagee.” Such placards may be removed temporarily, if necessary, in the course of maintenance of the Airframe or Engines. If any such placard is damaged or becomes illegible, Owner shall promptly replace it with a placard complying with the requirements of this Section.
Exterior Signage Subject to the other party’s prior written approval, which shall not be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed, and provided all signs are in keeping with the quality, design and style of the Building and Project, Landlord, at its sole cost and expense, may install (i) identification signage on the existing monument sign located on the exterior of the Building, and (ii) standard exterior signage on the Building entrance and Tenant, at its sole cost and expense, may install (a) in location(s) on the exterior of the Building consistent with the signage installed by existing tenants (subject to Landlord’s prior written approval), and (b) internal directional and lobby identification signage (collectively, “Tenant Signage”); provided, however, in no event shall Tenant’s Signage include an “Objectionable Name,” as that term is defined in Section 23.3, of this Lease. All such signage shall be subject to Tenant’s obtaining all required governmental approvals. All permitted signs shall be maintained by Tenant at its expense in a first-class and safe condition and appearance. Upon the expiration or earlier termination of this Lease, Tenant shall remove all of its signs at Tenant’s sole cost and expense. The graphics, materials, color, design, lettering, lighting, size, illumination, specifications and exact location of Tenant’s Signage (collectively, the “Sign Specifications”) shall be subject to the prior written approval of Landlord, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed, and shall be consistent and compatible with the quality and nature of the Project. Tenant hereby acknowledges that, notwithstanding Landlord’s approval of Tenant’s Signage, Landlord has made no representation or warranty to Tenant with respect to the probability of obtaining all necessary governmental approvals and permits for Tenant’s Signage. In the event Tenant does not receive the necessary governmental approvals and permits for Tenant’s Signage, Tenant’s and Landlord’s rights and obligations under the remaining terms and conditions of this Lease shall be unaffected. Except as required by applicable law, Landlord shall not install any other signage on the Building. If Landlord elects to install a multi-tenant identification sign at the entrance to the Project, Tenant shall be entitled to install its name on such sign (subject to availability on a pro-rata basis based on the relative square footages leased by the tenants of the Project), at Tenant’s sole cost and expense. Landlord shall remove or cause to be removed all existing tenant signage from the Building and surrounding area on or before the Lease Commencement Date.
Warnings Whenever the Employer or a representative of the Employer deems it necessary to censure an employee in a manner indicating that dismissal may follow any repetition of the act complained of or omission referred to, or that dismissal may follow if such employee fails to bring his work up to a required standard, the Employer shall, within five (5) days thereafter, give written particulars of such censure to the Secretary of the Union, with a copy to the employee involved. The copy shall be presented to the employee in the presence of his xxxxxxx.
Visibility 1. Unless the Council of Europe requests or agrees otherwise, the Grantee shall take all necessary measures to publicise the fact that the Action has been funded within the framework of a Joint Project between the European Union and the Council of Europe. Information given to the press and to the beneficiaries of the Action, all related publicity material, official notices, reports and publications, shall acknowledge that the Action was carried out with a grant from a Joint Project between the European Union and the Council of Europe and shall display in an appropriate way the Joint Projects’ visual identity (for instructions on use of the Joint Projects’ visual identity, see Appendix IV). 2. In cases where equipment or major items have been purchased using funds provided by the European Union or the Council of Europe, the Grantee shall indicate this clearly on that equipment and those major items (including display of the European Union and Council of Europe’s logos), provided that such actions do not jeopardise the safety and security of the Grantee’s staff. 3. The acknowledgement and Joint Projects’ visual identity shall be clearly visible in a manner that will not create any confusion regarding the identification of the Acton as a project of the Grantee and the ownership of the equipment and items by the Grantee. 4. All publications by the Grantee pertaining to the Action that have received funding from a Joint Project between the European Union and the Council of Europe, in whatever form and whatever medium, including the Internet, shall carry the following or a similar disclaimer: “This document has been produced using funds of a Joint Project between the European Union and the Council of Europe. The views expressed herein can in no way be taken to reflect the official opinion of the European Union or the Council of Europe”. 5. If the equipment purchased with a grant from a Joint Project is not transferred to the local partners of the Grantee or to the final recipient of the Action at the end of the implementation period of this Agreement, the visibility requirements as regards this equipment shall continue to apply between the end of the implementation period of this Agreement and the end of the Joint Project, if the latter lasts longer. 6. All layouts of any communication items prepared by the Grantee are subject to approval with the Contact point within the Council of Europe. 7. The Grantee accepts that the European Union and the Council of Europe may publish in any form and medium, including on their websites, the name and address of the Grantee, the purpose and amount of the grant and, if relevant, the percentage of co-financing.
Unsafe Working Conditions Employees shall be recognized by the Employer to have the competence to determine what constitutes unsafe working conditions within their discipline. No employee shall be disciplined for refusal to work in a situation which is deemed unsafe beyond the reasonable requirements of the employee's job.
Exterior and interior functional areas and spaces of the Project, with technical and equipment requirements on each;
Monument Signage Tenant shall have the right to have its logo listed on the monument sign for the Building (the “Monument Sign”), subject to the terms of this Section 23. The design, size and color of Tenant’s signage with Tenant’s logo to be included on the Monument Sign, and the manner in which it is attached to the Monument Sign, shall comply with all Applicable Laws and shall be subject to the reasonable approval of Landlord and any applicable governmental authorities. Landlord reserves the right to withhold consent to any signage that, in the reasonable judgment of Landlord, is not harmonious with the design standards of the Building and Monument Sign. Landlord shall have the right to require that all names or logos on the Monument Sign be of the same size and style. Tenant must obtain Landlord’s written consent to any proposed signage and lettering or logo design prior to its fabrication and installation. The location of Tenant’s logo on the Monument Sign shall be subject to Landlord’s reasonable approval. To obtain Landlord’s consent, Tenant shall submit design drawings to Landlord showing the type and sizes of all lettering; the colors, finishes and types of materials used; and (if applicable and Landlord consents in its reasonable discretion) any provisions for illumination. Although the Monument Sign will be maintained by Landlord, Tenant shall pay its proportionate share of the cost of any maintenance and repair associated with the Monument Sign. Tenant’s signage on the Monument Sign shall be designed, constructed, installed, insured, maintained, repaired and removed from the Monument Sign all at Tenant’s sole risk, cost and expense. Landlord shall be responsible for the maintenance, repair or replacement of Tenant’s signage on the Monument Sign, the cost of which shall be included in Operating Expenses. Landlord may, at any time during the Term (or any extension thereof), upon five (5) business days prior written notice to Tenant, relocate the position of Tenant’s signage on the Monument Sign (provided that if Tenant is the sole tenant on the monument sign, Landlord shall make no such relocation without Tenant’s prior written consent, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld) without materially impairing its visibility. The cost of such relocation shall be at the cost and expense of Landlord. The rights provided in this Section 23 shall be non-transferable unless otherwise agreed by Landlord in writing in its sole discretion.
Safety Glasses Section 1. The City shall supply prescription safety glasses with plastic lenses to employees who are required to wear safety glasses and who are members of the classifications contained in Appendix C to this contract. Safety glasses which are authorized must be industrial grade safety glasses which meet or exceed the requirements of ANSI Specification Z87. 1. All employees who are required to wear safety glasses shall also be required to wear side xxxxxxx, either permanent or snap-on, whenever an eye hazard exists. Solid tinted glasses will not be approved unless required by prescription. Photogray, progressive, scratch coating and/or anti-glare lenses may be considered for those employees who primarily work outdoors or as prescribed. In the event that additional classes are identified as needing either prescription safety glasses or protective eyewear, such classes may be added to the classification list in Appendix C upon approval of PAGE and the City. Section 2. The City agrees to pay the full cost of required prescription safety glasses, with frames not to exceed $75.00. This excludes the cost of the eye examination which will be the responsibility of the employee. The effected employees will be allowed one (1) replacement of safety glasses every two (2) years. In the event the safety glasses become lost, unserviceable, or broken on the job, the employee must present a written request for replacement to the Department Head and Human Resources Director. If the employee breaks his safety glasses while on the job, the Department shall replace the glasses at no cost to the employee. The replacement of lost glasses or glasses that are broken off the job will be at the discretion of the Department Head and Human Resources Director. If an employee has been provided safety glasses by the City, the employee shall be permitted to retain possession of the glasses after separation from the City without reimbursing the City for any costs associated with the glasses. Section 3. An employee who is required to wear prescription safety glasses must present a written request to his department head or designated representative. Section 4. The employee must obtain a current prescription and the employee is authorized the use of sick leave not to exceed two (2) hours to accomplish this examination. The employee will obtain a purchase order from the Department Head prior to ordering the safety glasses. The employee will present the purchase order to the appropriate vendor when ordering. The vendor will contact the appropriate Department Head when the glasses are ready for delivery. The Department Head will then notify the employee who will present himself at the vendor for fitting and pickup. Section 5. In the event a probationary employee has been issued safety glasses and terminates his employment with the City for any reason during the probationary period, he shall be required to reimburse the City for any expenses incurred in the purchase of safety glasses.
Safe Working Conditions The Employer undertakes to maintain office furniture, equipment, etc., in a practical and safe condition in order to avoid injury to employees or damage to their attire. Employees, for their part and in their own interest, are expected to advise the Employer of any such potentially injurious equipment.
