Common use of Wash-up Period Clause in Contracts

Wash-up Period. The Company will allow a period of five (5) minutes for the purpose of washing up and putting away tools immediately prior to the end of each half shift. In lieu of the five (5) minute wash-up period at the end of the regular shift, any employee working overtime shall take such up period at the conclusion of his overtime assignment.
