Weekends and Days Off. Full‐time employees shall have every other weekend off (Saturday and Sunday) and two (2) days off, except where otherwise mutually agreeable. Current part‐time employees at the effective date of this Agreement who have had every other weekend off for the year preceding the effective date of this Agreement shall continue to have every other weekend off (Saturday and Sunday). Part‐time employees shall have at least one (1) weekend off (Saturday and Sunday) a month if scheduling permits. The Employer shall work toward providing every other weekend off for part‐time employees on the basis of seniority and job requirements.

  • Weekends Off (Full-Time and Regular Part-Time) In scheduling shifts the Hospital will endeavour to arrange schedules so as to provide for a minimum of eight (8) weekends off in every twenty-four (24) week period, and, in any event, at least one (1) weekend off in each three (3) week period. Where a weekend off is not granted within a three week period, time worked on such third weekend and every subsequent weekend shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half. This standard shall not apply where:

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday.

  • Weekends Holidays that fall on weekends will be observed on a day established by the School District.

  • Sick Days Employees will be provided with 6 sick days per calendar year. Sick days are paid at 75% of the employee’s step rate.

  • Weekend Holidays 9.3.1. A full-time employee who works a Monday through Friday schedule and the calendar holiday falls on a Saturday, the employee shall be allowed the preceding day off. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the employee shall be allowed the following day off. If the employee works the day preceding or following such a holiday, he/she shall be given another workday off with pay or shall receive payment for that day at the regular rate.

  • Working Days E9.9 Without prejudice to clause 9.1, where the Authority funds the delivery of this Contract using European Social Fund (ESF) funds or in its role as a Co-financing Organisation uses this contract as a match for ESF provision, either at the outset of the contract or at any point during the life of the contract, the Contractor and any Sub-contractors appointed by it shall be bound by the corresponding additional requirements detailed within relevant Contractor Guidance, including the maintaining of records until at least 31 December 2023.

  • Sick Time An employee shall have all of his/her accrued sick leave credits transferred when the employee is transferred to a different State agency.

  • Consecutive Days Off The Employer shall schedule consecutive days off for all full-time employees except where a full-time employee requests otherwise. Where possible, part-time employees shall have consecutive days off every second week. Where it can be demonstrated by the Shop Xxxxxxx, to the Employer’s satisfaction, that scheduling of consecutive days off can be accomplished without an adverse effect on the operation of the department, the Employer shall do so.

  • Weekdays All work performed outside of the designated shift Monday through Friday shall be paid at time and one-half (1-1/2) the straight-time hourly wage rate.

  • Days Off 17.1 The Employer shall schedule two (2) consecutive days off for each employee each week provided that it is recognized that due to the nature of the Employer’s operation in providing a public service, the scheduling of two (2) consecutive days off may not always be feasible. The employer may request through the union that the employee forego two consecutive days off.
