Winches. The Contractor shall provide and install six, 7.5-hp, electric powered, standard deck winches, as shown on the contract drawing. Four winches shall be similar to XXXXXXXXX MANUFACTURING model WWP 65E-7.5 (left hand model), and four winches shall be similar to XXXXXXXXX MANUFACTURING model WWP 65E-7.5 (right hand model). Each winch shall be set up for 460 volt AC, 3-phase, 60-Hz service. Each winch shall have a line pull 1st wrap of 13,000 lb. rated pull, with line speeds of 14 feet per minute. The holding for each winch shall be 99,000 lb. electric brake and 130,000 lb. dog. Each winch shall include the following standard features and options: • Fully reversing crane and hoist duty motors that are totally enclosed. • Drum guard to prevent slack cable from fouling gears. • Factory installed, flange-mounted ball bearings for power shaft. The controller and breaker for each winch shall be located in the Switchboard Room. Each controller shall be equipped with a lockout device to allow for de-energizing the winch for maintenance purposes. Each winch shall have a control station consisting of a push button station housed in a NEMA 4 watertight enclosure with a drip proof enclosure shield over the top. A watertight seal (rubber covers) shall be provided over the buttons. Each control station shall be located at the respective winch. Each winch shall be provided 150-feet of extremely low stretch, flexible, fatigue and wear resistant winch line similar to Amsteel Blue or similar 1 1/8-inch diameter, torque-free twelve-strand single braid rope with urethane coating. Each wire rope free end shall be provided with a 36-inch long swaged eye. The swag eye shall be dipped in a urethane coating for chafe protection. The coating shall be complete and free of defects, gaps, holes, cuts, etc. when delivered and installed. Each rope shall also be provided with two protective webbed-nylon chafe sleeves, each 12-feet in length, similar to Samson DuraTech. There shall be a right regular lay on both the port and starboard winch ropes.

  • Inoculations The Employer agrees to pay full expenses for inoculation or immunization shots for the employee and for members of an employee’s household when such becomes necessary as a result of said employee’s exposure to contagious diseases (including AIDS, tuberculosis and hepatitis) where said officer has been exposed to said disease in the line of duty.

  • Hardware IF HARDWARE IS IDENTIFIED ON A TRANSACTION DOCUMENT, THE SALE AND USE OF THE HARDWARE WILL BE GOVERNED BY TERMS OTHER THAN THIS XXXX. OT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO THE HARDWARE.

  • Wet Weather In the event of wet weather, work in the open will continue until the particular work in hand can no longer be done safely and efficiently. Whilst it is raining, employees will be required to: Continue to work under cover or relocate to alternative work under cover, on site. Obtain materials and services for employees working under cover where there is only minimal exposure to inclement weather. When required, perform emergency and safety work. In addition, work on unexpected breakdowns, which can be corrected in limited time duration. Should a portion of the project be affected by wet weather, all other employees not so affected shall continue working in accordance with award conditions, regardless that some employees may be entitled to cease work due to wet weather. If a halt to productive work occurs due to inclement weather, the parties agree that employees may be relocated to other unaffected sites. Where the above steps are not possible, affected employees may be required to attend tool box meetings, work planning sessions or skills development activities, all of which will count as productive time for payment purposes.

  • Landings After landings have served Purchaser’s purpose, Purchaser shall ditch and slope them to permit water to drain or spread. Unless agreed otherwise, cut and fill banks around landings shall be sloped to remove overhangs and otherwise minimize ero- sion.

  • Brakes Master cylinder, wheel cylinders, hydraulic lines and fittings, power booster and brake callipers. Excludes linings, pads, drums and discs.

  • Drainage ▪ Prevent silt bearing road surface and ditch runoff from delivering sediment to any streams or wetlands. ▪ Maintain rolling dips and drivable waterbars as needed to keep them functioning as intended. ▪ Maintain headwalls to the road shoulder level with material that will resist erosion. ▪ Maintain energy dissipaters at culvert outlets with non-erodible material or rock. ▪ Keep ditches, culverts, and other drainage structures clear of obstructions and functioning as intended. ▪ Inspect and clean culverts at least monthly, with additional inspections during storms and periods of high runoff. This shall be done even during periods of inactivity. Preventative Maintenance ▪ Perform preventative maintenance work to safeguard against storm damage, such as blading to ensure correct runoff, ditch and culvert cleaning, and waterbar maintenance.

  • CURVE WIDENING The minimum widening placed on the inside of curves is:  6 feet for curves of 50 to 79 feet radius.  4 feet for curves of 80 to 100 feet radius.
