Common use of Witness in Court Clause in Contracts

Witness in Court. If an employee is required to be a witness in court as a result of a case with the City of Cincinnati, or because he/she witnessed an event while working for the City of Cincinnati, an employee will be paid their regular salary. An employee will not be paid for appearing in court for any matter unrelated to the City of Cincinnati. Witness fees must be turned into the department for deposit with the City Treasurer if the employee is paid his regular salary.
