Work Area Specific Casual Lists. (a) The Casual Availability List shall be broken down into Work Area Specific Casual Lists. (b) Provided an employee possesses the necessary qualifications, skills, and abilities reflecting the functions of the job concerned, as determined by the Employer, an employee as specified in Article 39.01 may have her name placed on a Work Area Specific Casual List. Such employees may also have their names placed on other Work Area Specific Casual Lists in accordance with (e) and (f) below.

Work Area Specific Casual Lists. The Casual Availability List shall be broken down into Work Area Specific Casual Lists. Provided an employee possesses the necessary qualifications, skills, and abilities reflecting the functions of the job concerned, as determined by the Employer, an employee as specified in Article may have her name placed on a Work Area Specific Casual List. Such employee may also have her name placed on other Work Area Specific Casual Lists in accordance with (e) and (9 below. An employee on a Work Area Specific Casual List is not obliged to accept an assignment when offered. However, if an employee is consistently unavailable when called for work on a unit, she shall be struck from that Unit Specific Casual List unless the employee has notified the Employer that she shall be unavailable for work for a specific period of time. It is the responsibility of the employee to keep the Employer informed of any changes in her desire to be assigned casual work. A permanent part-time employee may place her name on the Work Area Specific Casual List of her work area if she wishes to be offered casual work. Such employee must indicate whether she wants to be offered short assignments or relief assignments, or both. A permanent part-time employee may request that her name be placed on one

  • Access to Work Locations Reasonable access to employee work locations shall be granted officers of the Association and their officially designated representatives for the purpose of processing grievances or contacting members of the Association concerning business within the scope of representation. Such officers or representatives shall not enter any work location without the consent of the City Manager. Access shall be restricted so as not to interfere with the normal operations of the department or with established safety or security requirements. Solicitation of membership and activities concerned with the internal management of the Association, such as collecting dues, holding membership meetings, campaigning for office, conducting elections and distributing literature, shall not be conducted during working hours.

  • Geographic Area and Sector Specific Allowances, Conditions and Exceptions The following allowances and conditions shall apply where relevant. Where the Employer does work which falls under the following headings, the Employer agrees to pay and observe the relevant respective conditions and/or exceptions set out below in each case.
