Common use of Work Cycle Clause in Contracts

Work Cycle. (a) A work cycle for application only to a project beyond daily travel distance of Edmonton or Calgary will consist of 21 consecutive days, each of which will consist of 14 regularly scheduled days of work followed by 7 regularly scheduled days of rest. Each workday within a work week will consist of 10 regularly scheduled hours of work with a ½ hour unpaid lunch break occurring at approximately mid shift and 2 paid 15-minute paid work breaks, 1 occurring at approximately the middle of the first half of the shift and the other at approximately halfway through the second half of the shift.
